‘Deuce’ de Rory Gallagher celebra su 50 cumpleaños con una caja de lujo en cd, y versiones 2cd, 3LP y edición especial del ‘BBC In Concert – Live at The Paris Theatre, 13 January 1972’.
El extenso lanzamiento de celebración se adentra en los archivos de Rory Gallagher e incluirá una nueva mezcla del álbum original, veintiocho tomas alternativas inéditas, un ‘In Concert’ de 1972 de la BBC Radio de seis canciones y siete pistas de sesiones de radio de Bremen.

El paquete contendrá un libro de tapa dura de 64 páginas con un prólogo de Johnny Marr de The Smiths, imágenes inéditas de Mick Rock, ensayos y recuerdos de la grabación del álbum.
El 2CD y el 3LP serán versiones recortadas de la caja de lujo y habrá un D2C 1LP especial del «BBC In Concert – Live at The Paris Theatre, 13 January 1972».
Publicado en noviembre de 1971, sólo seis meses después de su debut homónimo en solitario, el segundo álbum de Rory Gallagher, ‘Deuce’, fue el resumen de todo lo que había prometido tras el colapso de Taste. Rory Gallagher quería capturar la sensación de una actuación en directo, por lo que buscaba grabar inmediatamente después de los conciertos en vivo y mantener la producción al mínimo.
Eligió los Tangerine Studios, un pequeño estudio de reggae, en Dalston, al este de Londres, debido a su historia con el legendario productor Joe Meek. Con Gerry McAvoy al bajo y Wilgar Campbell a la batería, el álbum fue diseñado por Robin Sylvester y producido por Rory. ‘Deuc’e contiene muchos de los mejores momentos de Rory, desde el abrasador ‘Crest Of A Wave’ hasta el tema de inspiración celta ‘I’m Not Awake Yet’.
